A truly tropical paradise |
Natural Environment:
The eco resort is situated above a mountain stream with low-mountain ranges on either side, decorated with rubber trees; rubber being the dominant industry here in Hat Yai, Thailand. The natural rock pools found along the stream are perfect for bathing throughout the day. A 10m-high waterfall can be found after a one hour hike north of the resort. This water pool is full during the rainy season and low throughout the rest of the year. Nevertheless, the stream is always flowing. Climate:
Up in the mountains, the air is noticeably cooler than in the city. There are three distinct seasonal patterns. Late December - February: Cold and windy March - April: Hot and dry May: Somewhat rainy July - Mid-December: Monsoon season (rainy), hot and humid. Although the peak of the rainy season runs from October to beginning of December. |
